Our Committment to Child Safety & Safeguarding

Chris Holliday High Performance Coaching (CHHPC) is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, respectful and supportive environment for all children and young people participating in our programs.

The safety, wellbeing and best interests of children and young people are central to our coaching practices, decision-making and program delivery. We are committed to protecting children from abuse, neglect, harm, discrimination and exploitation, and to ensuring every young person is treated with dignity, fairness and respect.

CHHPC promotes a culture where children and young people feel safe, valued, heard and empowered to speak up about any concerns. We take all safeguarding concerns seriously and are committed to responding promptly, appropriately and in accordance with relevant legislation, safeguarding policies and reporting requirements.

We recognise that safeguarding is a shared responsibility. We expect all coaches, staff, contractors, volunteers, athletes, parents and other individuals involved in CHHPC activities to uphold appropriate standards of behaviour and contribute to a child-safe environment.

Our commitment is supported by our Child Safeguarding Policy and Procedures Framework, appropriate risk management, screening and training, clear reporting pathways, and ongoing review of our practices.
