Sami specialises in rowing technique, race preparation and athlete development, with a passion for growing coastal rowing and inspiring emerging talent.
Sami is an internationally experienced Beach Sprint rower who is passionate about growing the sport and helping athletes develop their skills and confidence on the water.

She has competed internationally, finishing 10th at the 2024 World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals in Italy and winning two bronze medals at the 2026 international Beach Sprint competition in Japan.

With experience across traditional and coastal rowing, Sami brings a practical, athlete-focused approach to coaching, with an emphasis on boat handling, beach starts, entries and exits, race strategy and adapting to changing conditions.

She's particularly passionate about introducing new athletes to Beach Sprints, developing regional pathways and making the sport accessible, enjoyable and competitive for everyone.
